The Story
Wize Fellaz is an entertainment brand centered around a secret society of elderly magical heroes known as the Fellowship of the Wise.
In the land of Sumeria, five thousand years ago, Lugalzagesi, the heroic prince of Umma, ascended as the leader of a secret mystical society: the Fellowship of the Strong. This fellowship was fueled by a celestial brew called Spring Tea. The tea stopped their aging and infused them with unnatural powers, making them a mighty force for good.
Obsessed by his quest to protect the weak, Lugal grew thirsty for greater power. His noble cause was corroded, and he devolved into Ajax, a demonic nightmare. Corrupted, he betrayed his brothers-in-arms and cast the land into an era of war and suffering.
The remnants of the Fellowship dispersed to the far corners of the world. As they approached the winter of their years, evil reached for them from the heart of Sumeria. The Fellowship was called to reconvene and devise a plan to defend their homes.
Upon discussion, they conceded that Spring Tea was a potion far too mighty for young, inexperienced warriors. Under the guidance of Phaedros, the Fellowship was reborn. However, this time, they'd only enlist warriors who had known the fullness of life. Henceforth, they became the Fellowship of the Wise, a secret cadre of undying elders wielding their divine gifts to shield humanity from evil.

The Fellowship of the Wise, affectionately known within their own circles as the Wize Fellaz, built their secret fortress in the neon heart of '80s Miami Beach, Florida. Disguised as a lavish nursing home in a refurbished art-deco hotel, this clandestine stronghold conceals a trove of technology developed over millennia around their secret ingredient: Spring Tea. From this HQ, the Wize Fellaz launch their counter-offensives and heists against Ajax.

And so, the Wize Fellaz continue their vigil - kooky grandpas to the outside world, but in reality, the unseen warriors standing between mankind and the looming specter of Ajax's nefarious order - CHAOS.

Shipping & VAT
We've got most of the game assets in place, but we need a bit more time to wrap things up for the printing process.
This period allows us a chance to perfect any additional goodies that could become available during the campaign!
After the campaign wraps up, we're going to be partnering with BackerKit as our pledge manager. About two weeks later, you'll get a survey from us (and yep, you've got to fill it out!) where you can give us your shipping details. That's also your chance to tweak your pledge tier or snap up any extra add-ons before settling your shipping and any tax bits and pieces.
Your final shipping cost? Well, it's going to be based on the address you tell us about in the survey, plus the weight of everything you've ordered. That includes any add-ons you've chosen, along with the items in your pledge tier. Don't worry, we'll bundle it all up in one package to keep the shipping costs down.
The journey of each Wize Warz: CHAOS Unleashed game from our doorstep to yours might take a different amount of time, depending on where you are. Some far-off hubs may take a tad longer to reach, meaning that deliveries might kick off at different times in different places. We're doing our absolute best to get the game to most of you simultaneously, but do bear with us if your game arrives a smidge earlier or later than other backers. Just to be super clear, Wize Warz: CHAOS Unleashed won't hit retail shelves until the majority of you have your games in hand or they're well on their way to you. However, we might decide to showcase a limited stock at some big-deal expos before all deliveries are underway.

For those of you backing us from around the globe, we're teaming up with fulfillment pals based in the EU, UK, Canada, and Australia. That means we can send out your orders in a way that's cost-effective, trackable, and pretty slick.

One last thing to note - if your order is heading off to the UK, EU or Singapore, there will be VAT or GST charges. These are worked out based on the total cost of your order, and yes, that includes the shipping.

Each phase of development brought new ideas to life, presenting its own set of triumphs and challenges, shaping the game into what it is today: an exciting, dynamic, and immersive gaming experience that invites you to join the Wize Fellaz in their fight against CHAOS.
Since the beginning "Wize Warz: CHAOS Unleashed" has been a real creative adventure. The objective was simple but awesome - create a vibrant, tangible, and most importantly, fun medium that could bring utility to the Wize Fellaz community.

The decision to choose a game as this medium felt like the obvious next step. The Wize Fellaz Nursing Home lore was built on the idea of these squads of elderly heroes embarking on daring heists to combat the forces of CHAOS, and what better way to embody this concept than through an immersive game? It gave us an opportunity to make the Fellaz' world more tangible, a way for fans to become part of their thrilling stories.

Being a lifelong fan of tabletop gaming, this project was more than just a creative endeavor for me. It was an opportunity to blend my passion for the fun of board games with the fantastical world of the Wize Fellaz. The process was like piecing together a puzzle, taking careful measures to ensure every element was not just engaging but also kept synergy with the overarching Wize Fellaz universe.
This adventure has been an incredible mix of nostalgia, creativity, fun, and the social energy we enjoy with physical games. We hope that's exactly what it feels like when you dive into a match of "Wize Warz: CHAOS Unleashed".

As an entrepreneur, illustrator, product developer, and Hollywood visual effects veteran, I've worn many hats throughout my career. As the Founder and Creative Director at eStudio37, my days are filled with designing and executing, always with an eye for expanding our brand and boosting our growth.
​
In 2022, we introduced the Wize Fellaz brand to the world, launching an NFT collection of 5000 generative tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. This was a passion project, born from a love of character design and digital art. But my journey into the world of art and design started long before this.
Before eStudio37, I served at Sony Pictures Imageworks, overseeing pipeline research, development, bidding, execution, and final content delivery. My work on films such as Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolutions, Superman Returns, and all three original Spider-Man films taught me the importance of detail and immersion in creating believable, engaging experiences. It's this attention to detail that I now bring to designing tabletop games.
​
My passion for tabletop games isn't just professional; it's personal. I've spent countless hours as a Dungeon Master, guiding players through fun story worlds. Whether I am lost in theater-of-the-mind games like DnD, or riding the adrenaline of combat games like Arena Krosmasters, tabletop games have always been part of my life. There's something unique about the social, tactile experience of a tabletop game, and it's this magic that I want to capture in Wize Warz.

A favorite pastime of mine is painting miniatures, a hobby that demands patience, precision, and creativity. Just as each miniature becomes a unique work of art under my brush, my goal is for Wize Warz to offer a unique and engaging experience for every player.
​​
My professional journey also took me to JCG, the largest media group in the Brazilian Mid-North, where I acted as Chief Digital Officer and oversaw the strategy, design, marketing, and sales of digital products. This experience further refined my understanding of the digital space and the knowledge I use to bridge the digital and physical in our games.
​
Over the years, I've been part of trade associations like INMA, Wan-Ifra, ANJ, and the Visual Effects Society, and I've been a guest speaker at events like Google's Newsgeist, Wan-Ifra's Digital Media LatAm, and Autodesk's 3December. These opportunities to learn from and contribute to the global conversation about art, design, and technology have been invaluable in shaping my perspective.

In essence, Wize Warz represents a convergence of my passions and experiences – a project that blends my love for tabletop gaming with my expertise in storytelling, design, and digital technology.

Navigating the world of game production comes with its fair share of risks and challenges. Our printer, well-versed in the art of producing games, ensures top-quality components, so no worries there! Our shipping partners are also seasoned pros, though occasionally, uncontrollable variables may cause delays. Anything from printing hold-ups, and logistical hiccups, to unforeseen delays, can crop up, but hey, we’re always ready to roll with the punches.

If something does veer off course, we've got the backup plans to handle it. We're committed to making sure you get your game on time and it absolutely wows you.

Modifying Your Orders
During the campaign, feel free to tweak or cancel any order. Post-campaign, we offer a no-fuss 90% refund to cover transaction charges and other fees. But do remember, you'll also need to cover the gas fees for refunds. Once we start packing your pledge for shipment, we can't process refunds or cancellations.

Got a Problem? We’ll Fix It
If your game arrives with a dent, missing or broken components, or any other manufacturing defects, our customer service team will jump in to send you replacements at our expense.
​
We cover the cost of replacements and their delivery. But note, depending on the region and circumstances, it could take a few months for replacements to arrive. We can't provide replacements for lost or stolen games, and you'll need to cover the cost of reshipping parcels sent to the wrong addresses.

From the day we start delivery, any unshipped pledges (due to lack of address info or uncompleted shipping/VAT payment) will be treated as donations to eStudio37. We’ll still do our best to ship them if possible, but be aware that shipping costs may be higher.
